Ivalua, a leading global spend management solutions provider, continues its strategy of innovation with the latest features to be included in the company’s e-Auction module. These innovations are designed to facilitate interaction and communication between buyers and suppliers throughout the electronic bidding process, from initiation to analysis of results.

Dynamic, detailed tracking of all offers attached to a bid: With just one click, this functionality gives buyers a detailed view of bids submitted by suppliers and, more globally, lets them directly track price changes by item or by lot. This graphic tracking screen also allows ranking and filtering of bids according to criteria established by the buyer (by supplier, from best to worst bidder, etc.) and exporting all bid data in an Excel format.

A new instant messaging system ensures better communication during the bidding process. Developed on the “chat” model, this system allows smooth-flowing, real-time discussions between the auction administrator and participating suppliers. Administrators will be able to quickly detect “non-read” or “no response” messages in a thread and answer questions by suppliers in the shortest possible time.
