Ivalua Buyer V8 enables the Pierre & Vacances Group to centralize supplier contracts in a collaborative way
London, 3rd November 2014 – The Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs Group, Europe’s leader in local tourism, has acquired Ivalua Buyer V8 to centralize management of supplier contracts and offer company purchasers a collaborative approach. Already equipped with an SAP information system, the Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs Group wanted to implement the supplementary features of the Ivalua Buyer Contract Management module.
This choice is part of a purchasing portfolio optimization strategy representing a volume of 650 million euros yearly, divided in thirds among purchases related to new construction and renovation, site operation, and non-production orders. In close collaboration with its suppliers and internal and external partners, the Group aims to facilitate automated processing of contract lifecycle management, from drawing up the agreement, through negotiation, to renewal, cancellation or expiration.
Martin de Neuville, Director of Purchasing for the Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs Group, shares his vision of the deployment of this group purchasing policy:

To reach the Goup’s functional, technical and financial goals, the Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs Purchasing Department has implemented an organization which meets global (by purchasing family) and local needs for the Group.
