Redwood City, March 12, 2014 – With more than 150,000 employees and 37 million customers across all continents, EDF, worldwide electricity leader from generation to transport and distribution, has decided to put its trust in Ivalua Buyer V8. The latest version of Ivalua’s e-purchasing software will manage its procurement process, from the handling purchase requests to the consultation, negotiation, attribution and finalization stages including the signature of the contract.
EDF’s goal was to update its e-purchasing tool by giving it a Group dimension and pursuing the optimisation of its purchasing process.
Ivalua Buyer V8 will provide the group’s buyers and influencers with a collaborative tool allowing them to manage and track the purchasing process while offering its suppliers a referencing portal where contract documents and consultation reports will be available.
Eventually, over 5,000 buyers and tens of thousands of suppliers will use Ivalua Buyer V8 every day.
“We are very proud of this new large deal, which reflects our strength to deploy our full suite in a global complex organization”, says Dan Amzallag, CEO of Ivalua. “Our unique Flex SaaS implementation
approach continues to be a key differentiator to our customers to win such deals”.
